Another six weeks of winter. After 15"+ of snow this weekend and another 1" today I feel his prediction is correct! The snow has me snuggled in and not quite thinking of spring or garden planning. I am thinking more about what I can bake or braise in the oven that wraps warm comfort around me.
I realize this is the time of year when the seeds are germinating, forming what they will be for the year, but let's be honest I bet they are probably a bit snuggled in too. After this recent dumping they, like me, are taking a moment to enjoy the snow. How pretty is Colorado this time of year!
Here is the aftermath on the roof, the terracotta colored pots you see in the distance, the taller one is 24" high.
brrrrr... It isn't a great picture because it was too darn cold this morning to have the door open. I am off to look in my pantry to see what I can bake! Stay warm everyone!
