Vegas, Baby, Vegas

Our lives have been a bit nuts lately so we decided to get away for the weekend with our friends to Vegas.  I know, not the most relaxing place to escape to.  Anyway, my husband had never been and I had been years ago so why not see what Vegas is all about.  We didn't do anything that would cause "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas."  Which might make us a bit boring, but I don't care.  We still had grand time with just a "little" debauchery!

Per usual when I go on trips I researched what we could see while we were there that wasn't 100% about gambling or partying.  I discovered that there is a garden at the Bellagio Hotel.  I was really excited to get some nature in my system while we were surrounded by buildings and partying.

The Conservatory is a small little piece of nature surrounded by all things Vegas.   This version of the gardens was very spring focused and it leaves me wondering what they look like throughout the year.  As you can see there are tons of flowers, but I was slightly disappointed in the selections.  I had higher expectations for more exotic plants since the Vegas culture is to go above and beyond.  Maybe they can get more experimental different seasons.   It is a small space and they made a big impact with the space limitations that they have just like we all do with our little urban spaces.  Definitely check it out!

If you can't make it here are a few shots, the lighting isn't perfect because I was using my iPhone.  Please excuse a few of these not being perfect:
