I am very excited about our sugar snap peas producing! I was concerned because I planted transplants more than a 6 weeks ago and progress was not happening quickly. I realize I am impatient however I had seen flowers that didn't result in fruit. It finally hit me, I hadn't been fertilizing weekly like I had been taught in my Colorado Master Gardener classes. duhhhhhh! Within a week of my first application I saw flowers turned into fruit!! I am loving my container garden this year... loving it!!
Here are some fun pictures to show you. It isn't a ton of of peas, but I don't care! I get all giddy just looking at them.

I used the railing for vining. The container decor isn't 100% stellar, but it will change into something else when these cool season plants pass on. |
