Thanks to my wonderful sister for sharing this article with me from the June 2011 Wired Magazine! I find it rather funny because I have a feeling I will become this geeky as time goes on, but I know my friends will keep me from being snobbish. If they don't I am sure I will run across a plant (s) that will remind me that I don't know it all regarding urban farming, because that is the universes way of keeping us humble. Goodness, so much to learn!

Don't Call It Gardening - The Wired Guide to Domestic Terraforming
My favorite quote from this was at the very end. I truly believe this too, especially when the first freeze arrives and my sadness hits that it will be a few months before I can get my hands in outside dirt. (I know, I should be saying soil)
"Gardens die. And then they are reborn"
In this time of year of coldness and darkness our gardens are germinating to be reborn! Oh the planning that has started in my head! Fun stuff!
